New Dynamics

Compare · LinkedIn & Sales Navigator

LinkedIn shows you the market. It is not the firm's record.

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator are excellent at what they do: mapping the market, surfacing second-degree connections, and helping a person research and reach a prospect. The limits are structural. It is a public network keyed to individuals, not the firm's shared record of pursuits, coverage and next actions, and it leaves with the person who built it.

01At a glance

Ownership

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

A public network tied to individual accounts. The connections belong to the person, not the firm.

New Dynamics

One shared source of truth the firm owns, so coverage and history stay when someone leaves.

Relationships

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

Shows connections and shared contacts, but not who owns the relationship inside your firm or how strong it is.

New Dynamics

A coverage matrix: owners, relationship strength, last touch, and uncovered decision-makers.

The route in

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

Surfaces second-degree connections across the whole network.

New Dynamics

Surfaces the shortest, warmest route from your firm's own relationships into a target account.

Pursuits

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

No concept of a pursuit, a bid decision or a weighted forecast.

New Dynamics

Weighted pursuits with fee, stage, probability, qualification and a bid or no-bid decision.

Market signals

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

Job moves and company posts, tuned to social activity.

New Dynamics

Market Radar scores live public notices and signals against your sectors and explains each score.

02Fair credit, honest cost

Reach and research

What LinkedIn and Sales Navigator does well

Unmatched for finding people, understanding the market and warming up a first contact.

What it costs you

Research and reach are the start of a pursuit, not the record of one.

Ownership

What LinkedIn and Sales Navigator does well

Rich, current profiles maintained by the people themselves.

What it costs you

The network belongs to the individual, so when they leave, their coverage leaves with them.

The firm view

What LinkedIn and Sales Navigator does well

Great for one person working one prospect.

What it costs you

Cannot show the firm where it is exposed, which pursuits are slipping, or what the forecast is.

03When LinkedIn is the right call

For prospect research, mapping an unfamiliar market and finding a warm path to a first conversation, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator are hard to beat and you should keep using them. Nothing New Dynamics does replaces that reach, and it would be wasteful to try.

The point to add the firm's own record is when the questions become collective and durable: who owns this relationship, where are we exposed as a firm, which pursuits are slipping, and what happens to all of it when a partner leaves. A public network keyed to individuals cannot answer those. An owned, shared record can.

The rest of the argument is on the product tour and in plain pricing.

Use LinkedIn to find them. Own the record inside the firm.

New Dynamics turns individual reach into firm-wide coverage: shared ownership, warm routes in, weighted pursuits and a forecast leadership can plan against.
